Plane Nuts

Within the next week, I will be boarding an airplane headed to Las Vegas to celebrate my 15th wedding anniversary. I've never been there before, so it should be an interesting trip. Other than the usual pre-boarding stuff, I am hoping for an uneventful flight. I just want to get on the plane, go to Vegas. When our stay is over, I want to get on the plane, and go back home. That's how I'm hoping

Dear Lilliana: Children And Pets Are NOT Game Pieces!

I'm a little hostile this morning, but that's because I get sick of hearing about women who are willing to put their children (and in this case, a pet, too) in harm's way, all because a man wants to leave them.

A puppy is dead after Maricopa County sheriff's deputies said a woman arguing with her boyfriend tried to keep him from driving away by placing her children at either end of his moving

Blogging the Schwartz/Bigger trials

Hello to everyone in the True Crime blog world! My name is A.J. Flick. I'm a reporter for the Tucson Citizen covering criminal justice -- basically, all the murder and mayhem that happens in the Old Pueblo.

As some of you know, on Oct. 5, 2004, a young, popular children's eye surgeon was brutally stabbed to death, shocking the community. Then, when another eye surgeon -- who used to be the

A Recommendation

Since the disappearance and death of Amber Hess, I have been seeing a significant traffic increase to my blog. While all my readers are welcomed and appreciated, I just want to direct attention to another site.

I have noticed a few comments directed to the Hess family, with readers sending condolences. Of course, the comments are very nice and heartfelt (and welcomed). However, I cannot be
