On Friday, June 22nd, the parents of Amber LeAnn Hess, 17, left for a weekend getaway. They came home Sunday, June 24th to a nightmare. There was no sign of the Queen Creek, Arizona teen. Her car is missing and their gun is missing. Blood left behind in the home suggests foul play.
Local news footage shows an obviously distraught Candy Hess, Amber's mother. She pleads desperately with the public to help find her daughter. In the video footage, Mrs. Hess says Amber is friendly, and has a large number of friends who are trying to find Amber. It appears that Amber did not have a serious boyfriend.
The biggest lead the Pinal County authorities have right now is Amber's car. It is a 2002 white Mitsubishi Lancer, 4 door, with Arizona license plate number 329 RJN.
My prayers go out to the Hess family, for Amber's safe return.
